Project Description

Discover 5 centuries of history

The monastic complex of the Royal Monastery of the Holy Trinity of Valencia is one of the best examples of Mediterranean Gothic architecture. It was founded by Queen Maria de Castilla, wife of Alfonso V the Magnanimous and regent of the kingdom during the long absence of her husband. The queen was buried in it, in a beautiful stone sarcophagus, which turns the monastery into the only occupied Royal Pantheon nestled in our lands.

The Valentia Ars Magna team will guide you through this national monument, spiritual and cultural axis of the Valencian Golden Century, immersing you in the history of the city of Valencia through a journey of 5 centuries in time.
