Project Description

For the sake of Valencian Baroque: Vidal’s fresco paintings

Raised on the ancient Roman Decumano, San Nicolás is one of the 12 parishes in which the city was divided in the days of James I. The church, with its Mediterranean gothic structure and its baroque interior, presents magnificent frescoes attributed to Dionis Vidal based on St. Peter Martyr’s and St. Nicholas’s lives. With our team you will be able to decipher each one of the scenes that talk about the life of both saints and to be surprised with great works  by Renaissance painters such as Juan de Juanes or Rodrigo de Osona.
